Santa Cristina is a very small winery on Lake Garda owned and run by the Zenato family. The pure Trebbiano di Lugana grapes used for this crowning achievement are those of the Podere Massoni vineyards, in the S. Cristina estate. These historic vineyards are so prized due to the particular exposure and nature of the land, which they believe produce exceptional fruit, representing the traditional wines of the region. They use only the best grapes and only produce wines under this label when conditions are right for top quality fruit.
Lugana, Agricola S. Cristina, Massoni is straw-coloured and lustrous with clear hints of pale green in the glass. An intoxicating fresh and fruity fragrance, echoed on the palate with sensations of grape and peach, with pineapple, lemon and grapefruit. A dry, fresh, well-structured body, balanced with a slightly creamy note and remarkable softness at the end. Absolutely divine.
