The Chateau has 48 hectares of vineyards that occupy two terroirs. The first, in the municipality of Bégadan is clay-limestone and the second in the locality Laujac is sandy gravel. This Cru Bourgeois Medoc is almost half and half Merlot and Cabernet with a touch of Cab Franc and Petit Verdot. Still a little closed on the nose as it is quite young but with depth and precision on the palate. This is a very food friendly wine. The oak is present but doesn’t get in the way of the fruit, rich chocolate and damson quality.
