This Chablis come from plots located in the village of Fontenay-Près-Chablis, that is to say in the heart of Chablis vineyards. On plateaus or hillsides with steep slopes the Chablis grow on stony soils (Kimmeridgian limestones) which allow a moderate production. The majority of these vines are between 15 and 25 years old; and some parcels were planted in the 1950s and 1960s by great-grandfather, Marcel. This Chablis is fresh and fruity with white flesh, like peach and pear, with some notes of citrus, already showing a beautiful minerality.
