Ancestors of the Laroche family owned vines in this region as long ago as 1695. Today, with Michel Laroche as patriarch, they are among the most respected winemaking dynasties in all of France. Michel has been making wine and then running a thriving business, ever since his very first harvest back in 1963. He has been at the forefront of innovation in Chablis, with horizons stretching far beyond the narrow valley of the river Serein. After 45 years in charge of Domaine Laroche, Chablis’ most iconic figure, Michel Laroche, established another new, smaller, quality-oriented winery that he named after his father: “Le Domaine d’Henri” and has been producing magnificent wines since 2012.
This is a clean, fresh Chablis with flavours of fresh lemon, lime, mango, green apple; with a chalky mineral finish.
