Welcome to the Raffles Fine Wines which was established in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds in 1978.
The proprietor Marcus Smith started his career in Hotel Management where the marriage of food and wine were paramount. He then worked in the busy wine department at Harrods alongside some of today's wine luminaries. In 1976 he was asked to help run the Belgravia branch of Andre Simon wines which in those days was a thriving fine wine merchant business. He specialises in wines that express "terroir", offer value for money and often only produced in small quantities. He imports mainly from France but has representations from most major wine growing regions around the globe.
As independent wine merchants to the trade as well as the private individual, we are obliged to sell a minimum of 12 bottles. However, we are happy to split cases and you may purchase twelve different bottles if so desired.
The list shows our main selection but at our warehouse you will find many Bin Ends as well as a selection of very fine wines. As these change on a daily basis we recommend a visit to the Old Fire Station as and when possible.
